The article for the feature well is “Design Criticism Is Everywhere—Why Are We Still Looking For It?”, written by Jarrett Fuller. One of the main point in the article is how people don't recognize graphic design criticism is around them and that they need to open their eyes to look for it. The opening spread incorporates this idea with the help of a visual metaphor. Looking for something is as hard as you make it out to be. The second page is divided into two with the use of black and white. This is to represent the duality of design and criticism. Additionally, the only picture present is an image of eyes looking towards the readers to show that criticism is still present.
