The topic for this Google Doodle is Paranormal Day which takes place on May 3. The illustration's main concept is to depict something unexplainable and supernatural found in the woods. In order to emphasize the eeriness of the illustration, all three ghosts look straight at the viewer. In the animation, every time the flashlight focuses on a ghost, they disappear, adding another layer of mystery.
